WE'RE BACK
The Sir Rogue - Anchoring out at Ballenas Island
2 weeks on the ocean - a very long awaited holiday. We left from home Beachcomber Marina, Nanoose Bay on July 30th and headed south to meet friends in the Gulf Islands for 3 days. Returned to Nanoose to restock for the longer part of the trip - anchored out at Ballenas Is - caught fish off Sangster - docked in Pender Harbour - travelled to Princess Louisa Inlet & Chatterbox Falls (our only rainy day) - then to Lund & Nancy's bakery (mmmmmm - those blackberry cinnamon buns are a must) - off to meet a great group of long time friends at Rebecca Spit (Drew Harbour-Harriot Bay). Returned via Pender Harbour and then home.
Hid from the winds most of the trip - ate an abundance of prawns, salmon, cod & crab - swam with the dog - had many, many laughs and never failed to be amazed by the absolutely incredible, gorgeous scenery & wildlife that we're so lucky to have in beautiful BC.
