Bowser Legion - Scotch Tasting and Scottish Cultural Event
May 29, 2010 - The Knockananna Grill & the Bowser Legion hosted a Scottish Cultural Event - bagpipers, highland dancers, heavy events, and a Food and Scotch Pairing Seminar for 25 lucky raffle winners! While Ron wasn't one of the lucky winners he was very happy to purchase a ticket from one of the 25 winners who donated the proceeds to the Legion.
This was truly a grand event. The menu was superb marrying 9 spectacular dishes with 9 amazing Scotch Whiskys. The evening ended with each of the 25 winners receiving their share of the grand prize - a dram of "The MACALLAN Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky" in LALIQUE. At a value of $17,000 for the bottle, this was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
