Children's Miracle Network

At RE/MAX, we believe that serving the communities in which we live and work allows us to not only contribute to the well-being of our society but to also be concerned about the outcome of that contribution. This dedication we call Premiere Community Citizenship. Our commitment as the exclusive real estate corporate sponsor for the Children's Miracle Network allows us the opportunity to expand the universal cause of caring for sick children.
The RE/MAX - Children's Miracle Network affiliation began in 1986 when RE/MAX affiliates in Clagary, Alberta and the Quebec Region started raising funds for this worthy cause. In 1992, RE/MAX International adopted the Children's Miracle Network as its official corporate charity. Raising funds for hospitalized children, to date RE/MAX professionals have collectively contributed over $76 million to the cause.
RE/MAX of Western Canada affiliates raise funds through numerous community event involvement but the cornerstone of our involvement is the Miracle Home Program whereby the sales associate pledges a contribution derived from each transaction involving a RE/MAX Miracle Home. 100% of their contribution helps sick children from their community (BC Children's Hospital.
RE/MAX chose the Children's miracle network as its international charity because...
The Mission Statement of the Children's Miracle Network, an international non-profit organization, is to "Generate funds and awaremess programs for the benefit of children served by its associated hospitals". An outstanding cause!
RE/MAX lists and sells homes with the very families whose children have been served, or may one day be served, by a Children's Miracle Network hospital. One out of ten children will be treated at a Children's Miracle Network hospital by the age of 18.
Each spring we (Ron & Peggy) personally sponsor "The Children's Miracle Yard Sale" in Nanoose Bay - it's a fun day - neighbour meeting neighbour - treasures to be found - and most importantly, it helps put smiles back on children's faces. Watch for upcoming details.
