 Remax First Property Management team, Wendy Hofforth and Teresa Duce, licensed property managers, offers a professional management service. Our part-time office assistant, Jackie Schaftlien, is in the process of taking her Property Management Course through the University of British Columbia.
Full residential property management services includes; advertising, screening and placement of suitable tenants, home inspections, visits, rent collection, and arranging for general maintenance of work required inside
and outside of the property. Monthly statements, including invoices, are sent to our homeowners, and year end statements.
Another service offered is tenant placement only. We will place a tenant in the home for a homeowner through the same process as a full management placement. The homeowner manages the property themselves once the tenant is placed.
We also offer a Property Protection Service for homeowners with vacation homes in the area. This service provides a general walk through of the home. Checking on the home and property depending on the time of year what needs to monitored. With this service we encourage the homeowner to check with their insurance company on their guidelines as to the amount of times a visit must be done in a specific time frame.
